Unusual severe heat, intermittent heavy rains and high humidity over the months of July and August have taken some serious toll on the physical health of many of our children and staff at Power of Grace Children’s Home. Several have succumbed not only to coughs and colds but to severe flu and Dengue fever with at least one person hospitalized each week. While we did not fall to any illness, the physical and emotional stress of caring for the sick and the unforeseen additional financial burden did hit us quite hard. As of this update, all children and staff have been recovered. Please continue to include in your prayers our continual good health and safety as we labor among our people here.
