Children's Outreach Resumed!

Our Sunday School teachers started visiting and inviting people to church and check if gathering children for Bible lessons are allowed in our surrounding communities.  The children are actually excited to come to the Bible lessons and even come to church.  Parents and older people are not that interested but are not stopping their children from coming to church so that is a good thing.  Please help pray that these children will really come to know the Lord and become the bridge for us to reach their families.

Back on the Ground!

The Lord God be praised!  Through your help in prayers, we were able to make it back to Cambodia.  We arrived here last July 24, 2021.  We were in quarantine much longer than most incoming travelers as some passengers we traveled with and stayed with in the hotel tested positive with COVID 19.  Thankfully, Daisy and myself are not infected, we finally got to our home here in Phnom Penh on August 11.

Our two sons who are working in our school and their spouses are all well.  It is such a blessing to be able to see them in person and even hug them.

Our children at Power of Grace Children’s Home are all in good health after 15 of them and 2 of our staff tested positive earlier in July.  We cannot express the relief and joy we felt seeing these children who call us Mom and Dad after 1 year and 5 months of separation due to this pandemic.

We are back into a new regular routine!  Responsibilities are still the same; Church, Children’s Home, School and Bible College.  We just have a much more different way of doing things like masks, distancing, sanitizing, livestreams and online meetings!  But overall, we are JUST SO GLAD TO BE BACK serving among our Cambodian people.

We owe you all a lot through your prayers and financial support and for that we are much more than thankful.

Christ Is Sufficient

We praise the Lord that despite intermittent lockdowns Academy International Cambodia was able to finish school year 2020-2021.  This school year must have been the most stressful and most challenging year for our school staff.  However, all of us have proven once and again that Christ is indeed sufficient for all His servants in their most needy times and seasons.  Congratulations students, parents and AIC staff.

Just Do What You Can!

There are a lot of things we cannot do or are being prohibited to do during this time of pandemic.  That would give us seemingly viable excuses not to do things we are supposed to do.  Believing that "the spiritual nurture of young people is Essential",  our staff at Academy International Cambodia try their best to keep on teaching our students and lead them to worship the Lord even in a limited environment and capacity.  In Mark 14, the Lord Jesus commended a despised woman for doing what she could!  Let's keep doing what we could for that is what honors God!
