Power of Grace Children's Home!

All our 57 children at Power of Grace Children’s Home are doing well.  The children all seem to be growing quite so fast.  Another four of the children have just finished their high school and are now in college.  Please continue to help pray for the needs of Power of Grace Children’s Home.  We trust that with your prayers and help the Lord will supply much needed funds to take care of these children.  We want to thank all of you who have been so faithful in helping us in this ministry.

Cambodia Student Convention 2016

We praise the Lord that Academy International Cambodia was able to participate in the recent Cambodia Student Convention of Christian schools using the ACE-School of Tomorrow program held last November 22-25 at the Highlands Camp here in Cambodia.  The event is the first one ever held thus far and we glad for having been able to have 14 of our students participate.  The different competitions in areas of sports, academics and platform events were very important learning opportunities for our children to see areas of skills and areas where personal and team improvement are much needed.  We are very thankful to the Convention Staff and organizers from School of Tomorrow - Philippines for giving their valuable time to organize such event.  We are looking forward for more Student Conventions to participate in in the future.

We were blessed with a brief visit from missionary in the Philippines, Pastor Delbert Hooge, last November 20.  Our people at Grace Baptist Church – Phnom Penh enjoyed very much his message during our morning service.  It is always a blessing to be visited by supporting Pastors and to have some time of fellowship with them.  Thank you Sir Hooge for coming to visit.  We missed Ma'am Lora in the services!

CBBC New School Year

Cambodia Baptist Bible College started the school year 2016-2017 with 26 regular students and 6 returning students.  I have enjoyed very much my time of teaching the second and third year men in their Homiletics and Practice Preaching classes for the very first 2 blocks of the school year.  It is a very precious sight to see young men stand in front of an audience for the very first time and deliver a short message from God’s Word.  Visualizing that these young men are going to become the future Preachers and Pastors in the Gospel ministry in Cambodia is more than enough motivation to keep on in the task of reaching and training more laborers for the harvest before us.

There will never be another one like it ever!

How many times have we heard or even said this phrase; "There will never be another one like it ever!" ?  I think that is most precise description for the recently held ABC Missionary Retreat last July 26-29, 2016 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.  Just that; "There will never be another one like it ever!"  It doesn't mean that we have already seen the grandest time of our life because as long as God is alive and the Lord tarries His coming, we will see more greater times of fellowship with and among our fellow servants of the Lord.  It's just that; "There will never be another one like it ever!"  It's just a wonderful blessing being a part of the ABC Missionary Retreat 2016.

It was a tremendous gathering of 51 missionary families from 18 different countries. 160+ were together for a three night two day meeting for fellowship and recharging. We met in Phnom Penh, Cambodia July 26-28. I truly love being with the ABC family. Thank you for bringing me such joy. --- Asian Baptist Clearinghouse (post by Rev. Sir Bob Came to Visit - Finally!

This is a major highlight of our life and ministry here in Cambodia!  Sir Bob (Pastor Robert Ray Phillips), our home pastor at Bible Baptist Church - San Fernando, La Union, finally came to visit us here at Grace Baptist Church - Phnom Penh.  Much thanks to Missionary Abcede Garcia for escorting Sir Bob on this trip.  We really enjoyed the time of fellowship and worship we were able to have together for the few days they were with us.  We wish so much that Mom Sue was able to come too but we hope she will have the opportunity next time.  Sir Bob and Mom Sue were greatly used by the Lord in our early beginnings in the ministry.  God bless you Sir Bob and Mom Sue.  We love you both so much!
