New Facility for Academy International Cambodia!

We praise the Lord for providing us a new facility to use for Academy International Cambodia.  AIC has been sharing with the facilities of Bethany Baptist Church Bang Keng Kong 1, under Missionary Rainier Rolda for several years.  With more students this year, we needed a much wider space.  Our parents were all glad with the new building and school furnitures for the children to enjoy while learning academics from a Bible-based curriculum.   Please continue to pray for sufficient resources to maintain renting the new building and please pray specifically for more dedicated teachers and educators to help us teach at AIC.

Cambodia Baptist Bible College SY 2017-2018

We had Orientation Day at CBBC last October 9, 2017.  We were so blessed to see the returning second and third year students and those who are coming back to complete a few credits for graduation.  We are very excited to have 14 new faces for our freshman class 2017-2018.  We are so thankful for our Cambodian Pastors and fellow missionaries who are helping teach at CBBC.  Regular school sessions started last October 10 with Mrs. Belen Quiruz teaching the 2nd and 3rd year ladies on Women of the Bible and Missionary Willie Quiruz teaching the 2nd and 3rd year men on Church Planting.  Bro. Leng Vanne welcomed the freshmen class with the subject of Firm Foundations 1.  Overall we have a total of 34 students at CBBC.  Please keep on praying for and helping support CBBC to help produce more very much needed laborers in the harvest fields of Cambodia.

A New Family Member!

We are blessed and thankful to the Lord for the addition of Roxanne into our family.  The wedding was held on our grounds at Grace Baptist Church and Power of Grace Children's Home last July 22.  I had some strange mixed emotions while officiating the wedding ceremony for our son and daughter-in-law.  We were also blessed the overwhelming support form our fellow missionaries and Cambodian Pastor friends and family and numerous relatives who came from the Philippines and other places.

We have a very special visitor here in the field these few weeks, in the person of our one and only grandson, Khong.  Khong just turned 3 years old last May.  His coming made Daisy's birthday much more special.

CBBC Graduation 2017

Graduation at Cambodia Baptist Bible College is always a wonderful and exciting time.  This year, 5 students successfully completed the 3 year program prescribed by CBBC for graduation.  We were blessed to have Pastor Sam Ramos of New Hope Baptist Church, Sydney, Australia as our guest speaker for the occasion.

Thankful for Able Co-Laborers!

Part of the deal in being missionaries is traveling away from the work, sometimes for extended periods of time.  While away, the work must go on!  During our absence from the field, our men did a wonderful job of leading the church activities.  They had a Missions Conference, special services for Mother's Day and Father's Day.  Bros. Sophea, Mien, Malayn and our son, Mikee, worked together so well.  We are so blessed having these "Able and Available" men at Grace Baptist church.
