School Name Change!

To All Parents, Students, Staff and Friends of AIC:

Subject: Official School Name Announcement!

Greetings from Divine Grace International Academy!

We want to make this announcement official that our school name has been officially

changed from Academy International Cambodia to Divine Grace International

Academy. Our registration with the different pertinent Cambodian government

agencies have made it clear to us that Academy International Cambodia is a name

that we cannot officially register for our school. We tried to keep the abbreviation, AIC

in conjunction with another word such as grace, but they said we cannot do that also

because some other entities have used the abbreviation as their business name

already.

Our only option is to come up with a totally different name for our school, and so we

came up with the name Divine Grace International Academy. While we are not

very happy with the obligated name change, we are still glad that our new school name

underscores the fact that we are what we are and have what we have only by the

permission and kindness of Divine grace upon us. Thus, we are grateful, yeah,

actually honored to call our school Divine Grace International Academy. By God’s

divine and enabling grace we shall strive to pursue greater heights for the glory of Him

whose Name is above all names.

As we are in the middle of a school year, we will still use the old uniform logo patches

but all our documentations and communications will start using the new school name

and logo from here onwards.

We also would like to announce that despite the name change, our school still

maintains a distinctively Christian school that gives premium to an individualized and

Biblically based curriculum.

Thank you very much for all your prayers and support for Divine Grace

International Academy. Let us keep our partnership strong for the future of our

children and for the honor and glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Singsing's Baptism

 

Sing-Sing is of Chinese-Cambodian ancestry. Her paternal grandparents are evangelical Christians but her parents are non-believers.  She has been coming to our church services for the past 7 months.  She is always very attentive during the sermons and would be nodding her head in agreement to what’s being explained from the Bible.  She eventually got saved and personally asked for baptism.  Glory to God!

Baptism at Grace Baptist Kandal Steung!

 

At one of our mission works in the province, Bro. Bunthol is excited to report of 11 new believers receiving baptism and becoming church members at Grace Baptist Church – Kandal Steung last October 27, 2025.  It is always a source of great joy to see our local Cambodian Pastors reaching their own people with the Gospel.  As we continue to train more Cambodian believers, we look forward with faith to seeing a larger harvest of souls here in this country in the years ahead.  We appreciate you all for having partnered with us these many years.

Our students at Divine Grace International Academy are so wonderfully blessed to have a beautiful building to learn both academics and the Scriptures.  They are fully aware that we have these nice things because many people have given generously and sacrificially.  They want to express their appreciation and gratitude through the lyrics of this song.  We too surely want you all to know that we are ever thankful that you have given to the Lord through your prayers and support for the Valdez family and the Cambodian people.  Heaven indeed holds a lot of wonderful surprises when we will finally meet those who helped us to get there and the people whom we have, in one way or another, helped or influenced to get there also. 

Sis. Hannah's Baptism

 

The baptism of Sis. Hannah on the last Sunday of August is a special blessing.  Sis. Hannah has been attending our church for over a year.  She mentioned that she has been in doubts about her salvation.  After some counselling her face has lightened up with joy and even asked to be baptized.  It’s always a joy to see new believers begin to understand faith and obedience to the Lord.  Please help pray for Hannah’s growth in her relationship with the Lord.

Thankful and Grateful!

 We praise the Lord that our CBBC Students and the Academy International Cambodia are all finally moved into our own new facility although the new building is not yet fully finished.  We sincerely appreciate you all for your prayers and financial help in making this huge project a reality.  Please continue to pray that we will have sufficient funds to be able to finish the whole building especially the chapel area and the dormitories for our CBBC students who are coming from the provinces.

reality!  Please continue to pray for more resources to fully finish the building and be put in full use in the training of more young people for life and ministry.  All honor, glory and praises be to God who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
