New Ministry Opportunity!

Even before graduating from CBBC last July 2013, Bro. Ly Kimlong already has an on-going ministry with little children.  He has started conducting Bible studies with adults and teens with the intention of starting a new church upon his graduation.  We are excited to see Bro. Kimlong gathering a good group of young people in his initial meetings.  Please help pray for the needs of Bro. Kimlong in putting up a convenient place of worship.

Grace Baptist Church - Kandal Steung!

We thank the Lord for additional funds provided for the completion of the walls with glass windows and a concrete floor of the place of worship of the brethren at Grace Baptist Church – Kandal Steung Mission.  Pastor Siem Bunthol and his family and people are so thankful for a much more beautiful place to worship God and to teach little children about the Gospel.  Our people at Grace Baptist Church – Anlong K’ngan were so glad to be able to join Pastor Bunthol and his people during their afternoon service last December 8.

And they were added unto the church....

We are very glad for the baptism of 11 young people.  Some of these are from our Power of Grace Children’s Home and the others are from our neighborhood.  These are young people that Sis. Gina Ilagor and the youth group of our church have been trying to reach for quite some time now. Please help pray that these young people will continue to grow in their knowledge and relationship with the Lord and that they will become strong testimonies for the Lord Jesus Christ!

CBBC School Year 2013-2014

We just held our Orientation Day at Cambodia Baptist Bible College last October 16, 2013.  A total of 30 students are presently enrolled at CBBC, there are 12 First years, 13 Second Years and 5 Third years.  We covet your prayers for these Cambodian brethren that they will stay faithful and eventually be equipped properly to become the workers in the harvest field of Cambodia and even in the neighboring countries around here.  Please help pray and continue to support CBBC so that we can continue in the task of training Cambodians to reach their own people.  Please remember also to pray for our missionary friends and Cambodian Pastors who are faithfully helping teach at CBBC. 

Valdez 5 + 1

Our trip back home in the Philippines last July and August was filled with the Lord’s blessings.  We thank you all for your prayers for the wedding of our eldest son, TJ, to MaeAn.  The wedding was a very beautiful ceremony and it was so good to have many of our relatives and close friends in attendance.  Please pray for TJ and MaeAn as they build their new family together.  Maybe this is the beginning of a new phase in slow growth of the Mike Valdez clan!
