I had the special privilege and blessing of officiating the
wedding of our Assistant Pastor, Bunthagn Samsophea and Sis. Sokly last
November 14. Bro. Sophea has been part of
our ministry since he got saved as a young teenager in 1998 and has serve with us
here at Grace Baptist Church up to the present.
Sis. Sokly was saved and baptized in one of the mission works we are
helping. We helped her through Bible College
and she just graduated at Cambodia Baptist Bible College last July.
Traditionally, Cambodian weddings last a whole day with the
wedding ceremony being done in the morning and the main wedding reception being
held in the later afternoon until the late at night.
We are blessed and are very thankful to have the presence of
many Missionary and Pastor friends to help support and pray for the new couple
as they make their promises to each other and start their new life together.
